Dr. Kuldip Singh Kular, MPP, representing the riding of Bramalea-Gore-Malton-Springdale
for the Ontario Liberal Party, congratulated the students of CIT on their graduation.
He highlighted how the students were the ambassadors of CIT that was making such
significant contribution to the community. He was speaking at the Convocation Ceremony
of the Diploma Students of the college at the Pearson Convocation Centre, Brampton,
held on May 16th. Mr. Bhagat Taggar , Founder and President of Canadian Institute
of Management and Technology ( CIT) said that the college is an accredited international
post-secondary institution which bridges the gap between theory and practice; education
and industry. He said that in its 10 year history 800 diploma students and over
8000 students in non-vocational courses had passed out of it successfully. He stressed
that this college was founded with the primary focus of developing the skills of

However, this has evolved to cater to a wider population since then. Ms. Satnam
Singh, who won this year?s award for achieving outstanding grades in every course
of the Office Administration Program, stressed on the individual attention given
to every student in the college. While, Ms. Manjit Bansal remarked upon the accommodating
and flexibility of the college in meeting the needs of the student, Parminder Gurcha
appreciated the efficient counseling. All the students won awards for 100 % attendance
and for acquiring A Grade in the same program. The college presented to 25 students
with Diplomas in this convocation. Another surprise awaited them in the form of
Congratulatory letter from the office of the Dr. Kullar MPP.
The Ceremony was formally closed with the Vote of thanks by Mr. Kamaljit Bal, Director
